Me 2 You – July 2019
I’m on holiday as I start writing this month’s edition, my plan is to focus on ‘Project 25’ this looking back and ahead to the series in November, I think its worth sacrificing weekly content to pull this off.
At the end of June, I rediscovered Kylie Minogue I have had ‘Love at first sight’ suck in my head since Glastonbury.
My young revolution piece I wrote a while ago, this was an interesting topic to write about. Again this is my personal view, the full affects of this are yet to be fully understood. I’ve been on holiday, I believe anything you can use as a learning experience is good.
I went to the cider farm, where they make Rattlers. This was interesting as the process has evolved over the centuries, this was a good experience. I believe taking a little big nuggets of information all the time. I spent the second week writing with this view out my window.
People watching is something I believe we all enjoy, subconsciously I’ve never been a expert in body language. But watching half undressed men out the window is fun as well as the games, sandcastles and other beach activities from the window teaches you about people.
The dogs playing and running along the beach and canal path, the school children playing games in bright orange hi-vis jackets, the tents where people shelter. The sunsets also are amazing over Summerleaze Beach and the canal.
Writing a way of telling stories, often drifting out the window you can create stories about these people. Although these are mainly fictional, something of our nature to entertain ourselves and pass the time.
I hope that over the next few months this goes out on this site, but my head has ideas but needing time to be developed. This is about showing my ideas, looking at things from my point of view as a young man. The world has so many things going on.
While we are on the next few months, we are looking at what could be the defining political moment of our generation, do we Brexit in 91 days time with or without a deal? The coming months are key. I never thought Boris Johnstone would be Prime Minister, but then again I didn’t see Donald Trump!
Do we go Beyond 100 Days? A great programme with Katty Kay in Washington and Christian Fraser in London, if you want to understand what is going on with these two big stories, as well as wit and the random animal story. Highly recommend by me Monday – Thursday 19:00 BBC News Channel and BBC World News.
After this weekends Hungarian Grand Prix, I should have a few weekends and days where I can focus more on this site. One of the weekends I am hoping to souly focus on ‘Project 25’, really hoping to push this through in August.
Englishness? This was something I feel is an important topic in this current political climate. We need to ask what we are as a nation in the union of the United Kingdom and the nation of England, itself has so many different indenties.
What’s ahead? No F1 for most of august allows me to write things, I have ideas hopefully this month I can have more content!
