Me 2 You – March 2020
Well, we enter extraordinary times, the coronavirus has become something which is affecting all of our lives. All normal activities whether that be business, sport or social activities are being posepond. I have been thinking about as the crisis escalated what impact could it have on normal life…
The extraordinary events which unfolded in Melbourne ahead of the Australian Grand Prix hit how global the threat of the virus is. I was in Wales that weekend, it was now an opportunity to work on content. I was wrong, I had no bedroom table so was using the other bed as a desk.
This was by no means comfortable but made me think of those correspondents who go into war zones they don’t have the luxury of a bedroom or safety to write. So who I am I to complain about not having comfort when there are homeless on our streets?

With the current lockdown and no F1 until June this is the ideal time to write, I need to get some structure into my life for the coming months. Please be kind, don’t raid the supermarkets, call someone, find a way to carry on your life.

I am currently working very hard at weekends to bring you new content, this COVID-19 is actually giving me time to write when I’m not watching re-runs of F1. I am not planning a piece of content on the coronavirus, but am trying to document the story day by day in a diary, I may consider publishing it.
The main thing I have written was about the power of human stories. I wanted to explore why these stories are important and how the power to move and inspire us
At the moment I am struggling a bit for ideas, with so much of our thoughts being on the coronavirus, all the things I am working on are for later in the year. Well, the Paralympic piece will be postponed by a year, so in June I’m hoping to get two pieces out relating to LGBT+ month…
But this isn’t important in the grand scheme of things, please stay at home, don’t raid the supermarkets and be kind!
