Me 2 You – April 2019

Spring is underway, the month started with a wedding often I’m shy and don’t go out much. But this offered me a chance to meet with old friends and get out by myself for the first time to an even like this by myself, though I have topics I like to avoid this has got easier.

I know we are in ‘election mode’ now, but for me to be a part of a movement is good for me said one woman “good for you to be part of something.” I got into politics to try and change our world for the better, not Brexit, but to create as what Labour says a country, city or town which “works for the many, not the few.”

Its hit a point over the last three months where I have over produced content and now its time for brainstorming. Writers block, need some time to think of ideas and develop them into pieces to write.

Sometimes when I’m writing content for this site, I ponder what does it say about us. I think a piece which I’m currently writing about ‘What do we do with our buildings?’, was prompted I feel by the fire at Notre Dame. It was gripping, you could not believe what you were doing. That’s where and why I was interested in writing about this topic.

As a reporter and writer, you never know where your next story or piece of content will come from. Would I have thought of that without Notre Dame, I don’t think it would have come to me yet, if it weren’t for Notre Dame, but I hoped it would off eventually. This post, I hope to finish in the next few days and get published.

I think the burning of Notre Dame will I think become one of those ‘where were you?’ moments. I’ll get into that when I finish it off…

Easter is a time to pause, normally mid-election you don’t really hear much but I expect moving towards both local and European (maybe a General) Election I feel refreshed and reborn. But it was not the night we wanted, but I praise everyone’s hard work.

As for content coming up… there are pieces in the pipe line but I’m just not finding time during the season as I put time into other projects and enjoying myself. hence for the slight delay with this months edition.
