Me 2 You – May 2019
May I always feel is the transition between summer and spring, for some, it’s the time when Football and Rugby titles are decided. Election night was a huge disappointment, but we knew that making gains were going to be difficult. The most upsetting thing was not holding my local ward which we gained last time around.
Writing this month, The Question was prompted by Notre Dame, as mentioned in last month’s edition. But thinking about the post, like it often is when writing you never know what’s going to come up and that’s what excites me with journalism.
I know finding time amongst covering Formula One, politics and other things to have time to write new content is hard. So, I ask you not to expect too much in terms of new content every week, however in July I’m going away and with the F1 summer break, I hope that will give time to write and look at topics.
One of the pieces I’m looking to write is 25 Years in Bath and 25 Years Around the World. I’m twenty-five in November, it’s something however I might choose to delay until then. I have ideas in the pipeline but finding the time, when I have the time to write them.
But, writing them doesn’t take that long it’s about the development and research which takes the time not the writing. I do this not worrying about deadlines, to explore topics which come into my head and those which we aren’t talking about.
I’ve said before we are nearing the end of the teenage years of the century and those years will shape our future, something following the EU Elections looks uncertain.
Writing not an as Labour member, it seems as if the Brexit supporters went to the Brexit Party and Remainers to the Liberal Democrats, I believe that because they have had clear messages throughout the last few years.
I am also looking for your help with a series of reports I’m working on, Project 25, One of these posts in November will be a Q&A about anything. Project 25 is still very much in the pipeline and being developed, hope to get this completed over the summer.
Please for that Q&A email your questions to jackpeterfielding@Outlook.com, or tweet @F1_JPF, I’ll make a note of them!
I’m also open to your suggestions for topics!
